The Joe Dirt Ride

The Joe Dirt Ride offers a lot of climbing and beautiful country views on 100% gravel roads.

Type: Loop

Length: 26 miles

Description:
Located near St. James, Missouri, this is a great gravel ride that starts at the Woodson K Woods parking lot just to the east of the Meramec Springs park entrance on HWY 8. 

The route offers 100% gravel with tons of hills and low water bridge crossings. The 26 mile rugged dirt road ride offers over 2,600 ft. climbing and is best done on a mountain bike or 'cross bike with good tires. There are some water crossings during the wet season. Overall, you can expect to take about 2:15 to finish based on an average pace.
