In spring of 2004 we rerouted a portion of the Lost Valley trail where it was severely eroded (just past the creek crossing going counter-clockwise). This reroute is entirely new singletrack, almost a mile in length and is officially open as of 3/27/04.
In spring of 2005 we rerouted two sections of the original Lost Valley trail where the first "large" climb (going clockwise) is located.
In the spring of 2009 GORC added an additional mile of singletrack to the Lost Valley trail system. The new singletrack circumvents the wooden bridge that was closed due to structural concerns, and while closing about a 1000 feet of rutted double-track, the new trail follows hilly contours around the "lost valleys" and is a welcome addition.
